The challenge
Why card delivery slows things down
When a card is ordered centrally, the customer waits for delivery before they can use it. A lost or damaged card means another wait. Printing cards locally, in the branch, removes that gap.
Days without a card
New customers cannot use their account fully until the card arrives, which can take days.
Delivery and handling
Cards sent by post or courier add handling steps and can go astray.
Staff tied up at the desk
Issuing replacement cards by hand takes staff time away from other customers.
How it works
How it works
Identify the customer
At the kiosk with face recognition and card or QR code, or by staff at the desk.
Print the card
The card is printed in the branch, on a GRG kiosk or an IDP printer.
Encode chip and stripe
Chip, contactless and magnetic stripe data are written to the card.
Hand it over
The customer leaves with a card that is ready to use.
Support under SLA
Our field engineers service kiosks and printers locally in Kuwait and Oman.

Frequently asked questions
Can cards be issued without staff?
Yes. The GRG kiosk is fully self-service, with face recognition and a PCI-compliant PIN pad. IDP desktop printers suit staff-assisted issuing at the desk, and you can use both.
Which card types can be issued?
The GRG kiosk reads and writes chip, contactless and magnetic stripe cards. IDP printers can be fitted with magnetic, contact and contactless encoders, depending on the model.
What happens to the old card when it is replaced?
The GRG kiosk can destroy the old card as the new one is issued, and it has a retention bin for at least 500 cards.
Which IDP printer fits our needs?
The SMART-81 gives glossy retransfer prints. The SMART-52 prints direct to card and runs from its touch screen. The SMART-70 handles large runs, and SMART-KIOSK fits inside a self-service kiosk. We help you choose by card type and volume.
Can it connect to our existing systems?
Yes. Our software team integrates card issuance with your card management and core banking systems, and connects kiosk printing modules to your kiosk application.
